AMKC is a platform for the strategic planning and management of an organisation's assets.
Asset structural hierarchies can be defined from system level right down to sub-component level.
AMKC provides the tools for asset assessments to be carried out on the assets at a given level of the hierarchy (e.g. engines, genset, fire-fighting) using a set of fully integrated asset management tools such as criticality, condition, rating baseline and obsolescence. During the assessment process, the Assessment Team can create work activity lists, against the asset hierarchy level, for each assessment type undertaken. The work activities created are automatically passed through to the Forward Works Programme for management.
AMKC also provides a dedicated processes and procedures library within the system supporting the asset management life cycle core functions. In addition, a cloud library exists in which to store all of the organisation's documents - framework models, policies, plans, and the like.
